This event is an opportunity to learn about Denmark’s climate ambitions, gain insights into corporate sustainability practices, and discover how we can all contribute to a climate-neutral future.

Kirstine Lund Christiansen, PhD fellow, Section for Global Development, University of Copenhagen.
”Kirstine will discuss Denmark’s international opportunities and responsibilities in achieving our own climate goals as well as the global goals of the Paris Agreement. In particular, she will discuss the opportunities for Denmark to engage in new carbon credits markets, but also discuss the potential issues with such engagement.”
Bo Jellesmark Thorsen, Dean at Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen and Vice Chairperson at Klimarådet.
Deputy Chairperson Bo Jellesmark Thorsen will present the thoughts and analyses by Klimarådet on different paths from Denmark towards reaching its climate ambitions. This includes the potential for climate neutrality and potential climate negative territorial contributions. The talk will highlight potential different pathways and the different role of consumers, producers, policy and more. The talk will point to different past, current and future policy decisions, and alternatives to this end.

Anna has more than 13 years of experience within communication and sustainability within the food and beverage industry with a specific focus on responsible sourcing.
Her talk will focus on how the world’s largest food producer will reach net zero and how regenerative agriculture will play a crucial role in achieving its goals.
